I know I know. . .

I'm suppose to be downsizing but I couldn't resist! Besides Lanette made me do it, I swear. Oh wait, I have a current temple reccomend...okay, she was 'with me' when I found these. This was a large sum of $$ to my way of thinking. Two quilts and two identical frames for $4 a piece!

The quilts both need repair but I prefer used rather than perfect. The frames outside measurements are 24.5 X 26. One frame is a future mirror the other is a future cork board or chalkboard instead of a mirror. Any ideas?

A Happy Chef. . .

LKT and I were out and about a couple of weeks ago and I found this for a mere $.50.  He is a 1950's Noma Happy Chef market reminder.  Isn't he cute?  He looks like he's had a little too much of what he's cooked, just like me.

Yard Sale Finds

A close up of some pretties found at a yard sale.
Less than $2.00 for the lot and all in fine condition.

Recipe box $.25.
A Tasha Tudor for $.25. Lovely art work.
And it was a sunny day to boot, does it get any better than that?

Pixies

Jan, here are the pixies I told you about, what do you think? The darkest one in front is plum, I don't know if you can make that out. I should have taken a photo of the back so you could see the color of their hats better. Aren't they cute?

Bottles

I like color, I like it a lot. I have prisms in my windows, bottles in my windows, and witches balls in my windows. Anything to have color. In the afternoon when the sun comes around to the west side of the house these little beauties light up beautifully. I have a uv film on my window so it looks a bit hazy but I assure you when the sun hits them the color is brilliant nonetheless. Unfortunately by the time the sun got to the other side of the house we had lost it behind heavy clouds. Drats! I waited all day to get a 'sun-through-the -bottles' photo. Maybe next time.
