As I looked out my front door this morning I saw this . . .
Click to enlarge. I wish I had a telephoto lens so you could see what I 'actually' saw. The time is on the photo. She was a beauty!
Whats happened, what's happening and what could possibly happen in the Heartland.
A small bush in our library parking lot. I think the red is so striking. I took this today in the early afternoon.
Sweet Man and I took a ride Sunday afternoon (yesterday) and came across these colors a mile out of town. I'm not a photographer and my photos never come out as vivid as the image I see in my eye. I don't know if it's the camera or the shooter, m-m-m, let's see now.
B-r-r-r-r, we woke up to snow over ice this morning. I don't know what the weatherman said the temp was but at 9:10 a.m. it was 4* and my thermometer is in the sun. The wind is blowing pretty good so I think our real feel temp is somewhere below zero. This photo is of my backdoor window which is totally ice. My apple tree has ice hanging off the branches. Sweet man trimmed it back hard this fall and now I'm glad he did.
