Checking in. . .

I haven't been on for a while so thought I had better check in. It's 8:25 a.m. in the Heartland and a beautiful morning. It's cloudy, 56 degrees and not-quite-a- -wind-yet breezy. We're going to have rain again today which makes the grass a beautiful emerald green but then it requires extra mowing. Darn!

I think Sweet Man has to call in this morning to see if he's leaving in his big blue truck today. He's been gone once this week on a run to Ohio but was back home after 2 days.

Signing off for now to get some breakfast, have a lovely day wherever in the world you are.

We are back down in the temperature department again with on and off again rain. Sunday is possible snow. I planted my flower bed...I am going to have to cover it up the next few nights. The wind is still howling, as usual! Everything is starting to bloom and turn green so my allergies are kind of acting up.
Austin is off to Calgary this weekend with a friend to visit his grandpa and his horses. He is really into roping and riding in the evenings and weekends.
KC is in California with Ray. She bought him tickets to see the Dodgers for his birthday.
Kes, Dus & Dil are all out at the tree farm. Kes has another 135 trees to dig and he will be caught up with orders...he is so behind because of the weather.
I am in my little square of a living room/kitchen trying to keep in a straight line! Yah, it is another one of those days.
I rented Phantom of the Opera on Wednesday and I believe it has been watched about 6 times by the boys since then and it is not due back until next Wednesday. They love the music.
I love you mom and miss you lots!!!

Hey Girlie,
I love Phantom of the Opera! I think Emmy Rossum (spelling?) is such a beautiful young woman. This is Saturday, Dave left this morning about 20 till 6, it's really foggy out. Sounds like you're still having quirky weather. We're suppose to get to 90 tomorrow which is unusual for this time of year. My tomatoes and peppers have taken off with all the rain we've been getting. Have a lovely day and try to keep that straight line going. Love you too Cheyenne, wish you were here to go yard saling with me this morning.
